This is my painting of painted leaves. I used water color paint to create multiple leaves. I first used yellow to paint lightly then I used some red and orange over the yellow. After this I added green and you are able to see the other colors through the green, creating layers of the colors. I also used a very watered down brown to create shadows of the leaves.
This is my hallway drawing. I used a pencil and ruler to draw one point perspective of a hallway. This shows the vanishing point as the back wall, a poster board and the ceiling, doors, lockers, and floor all lead to the vanishing point. This creates depth and value looking down the hallway. This is my one point drawing. I used a pencil and ruler to draw shapes like squares and triangle, then used orthogonal lines to connect and face the vanishing point. Making the shapes dark created space and depth. All of the shapes face towards the vanishing point, creating demension. This is my drawing of parallel lines. I used a pencil and ruler to draw parallel lines. Using these lines I then created depth with space. By making some of the lines dark than others it gave the illusion of space and layers and lines on top of each other. The lines trick the eye and make an illusion of layers and space This is a drawing of swirling squares. I used a pencil and ruler to create lines to make an allusion. I also used darker lines to create depth. It uses shape with the squares and depth from how dark or light the lines are. I combined the swirling squares and other lines to create and allusion which is blended together. It has lines and value. The idea of the drawing is to trick the mind and give it a dramatic look. |
